Animation-Intensive Learning

Synapticom.net is actively developing the following 3D-animation-intensive educational tools. These innovative tools are designed to facilitate motivating and empowering individuals living in geographically distant rural communities with specialized-healthcare challenges:

1. Interactive 3D-animation websites are in development based on a 3D-gaming platform. Video-conferencing capabilities are being integrated into the virtual environment. These immersive websites can accommodate closed reserved virtual classrooms of up to 25 viewers. The focus of our inaugural interactive 3D-gaming style website is art therapy inspired by Studio E: The Epilepsy Art Therapy Program sponsored by Lundbeck and the Epilepsy Foundation of America (Caicedo et al, 2015).

2. In addition, we are producing, and archiving an on-demand animated education series. This series addresses epilepsy and co-occurring mental health conditions. These brief creative-commons videos are being distributed to the internet at-large.

The target audiences for both the sophisticated immersive educational websites and engaging 3D-animated educational video archive include individuals and family members living with epilepsy.

On-demand access to these projects will facilitate personalized healthcare by way of an immersive 3D gaming-style educational experience. Such access will amplify our outreach mission directed toward empowering children and adults with varying levels of cognitive ability, diagnosed with epilepsy and co-occurring mental health challenges.
